Jill* in North East Africa

Jill demonstrates the love of Christ to all she meets, taking every opportunity to share the Gospel.

Health is an ongoing issue in this part of North East Africa, with malaria and other tropical diseases being prevalent. Jill always thinks about how to meet peoples’ medical and spiritual needs and is learning the local language and culture in order to better understand the needs of the local people.

Jill uses her professional medical training to be involved in health and education in her local community and the surrounding villages. She also meets with young people to help them with their school work. Some people ask her searching questions about what they have read in the Bible and she takes the opportunity of answering these to share her Christian faith.
